Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account on Pocaroo or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of service

Pocaroo is an invitation-only vacation property booking platform. Property owners list their properties and manage bookings. Guests on the allowlist can request bookings, which owners approve or decline. We facilitate the connection but are not a party to any rental agreement between owners and guests.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and on a property’s allowlist to use the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Booking terms

Booking requests are not confirmed until approved by the property owner. Payment terms, cancellation policies, house rules, and liability are determined by the property owner, not by Pocaroo. Any disputes between guests and owners should be resolved directly between those parties.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose; share your account with others; attempt to access properties or data you are not authorized to view; interfere with the operation of the platform; or submit false or misleading booking requests.

6. Property owner responsibilities

Property owners are responsible for: the accuracy of property listings; complying with local rental laws and regulations; maintaining appropriate insurance; handling guest communications and disputes; and managing payment collection.

7. Intellectual property

The Pocaroo platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Pocaroo. Content you submit (such as booking notes) remains yours, but you grant us a license to use it as needed to operate the service.

8. Limitation of liability

Pocaroo is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or financial loss related to bookings. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in the preceding 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your data & privacy settings. Upon termination, your booking history will be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will require re-acceptance when you next sign in. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States.
